Sephora does sales a few times a year, and if you’re looking to refresh some of your routines for fall, now is a great time! Continue reading to learn more about my recommendations.
I haven’t been wearing a lot of makeup this year, and I’m guessing your probably haven’t been either, but I put together a simple look with some of my essentials. (Tbh putting on makeup was hard, LOL)
I’ve tried a lot of high end foundations, but I always reach for Makeup Forever Ultra HD. It photographs well, has great coverage that still feels natural in real life, and has a wide range of shades. I’m wearing Y365 here.
My brows are a mess but Anastasia Dipbrow Pomade is making them look moderately ok. I don’t think I’ve ever been good at doing my brows but this plus their #12 Brush definitely works out for me.
I never quite got the concept of blush but Tom Ford Cheek Color in Love Lust definitely helped me understand. This blush is the perfect shade for my skin tone and is just a beautiful texture.
I was obsessed with eyeliner for a while, but this Sephora Collection 12HR Colorful Contour Eyeliner is so affordable, and half the price of high end eyeliners. It’s smooth and long wearing, which I love!
Another product I always reach for is the Nars Powermatte Lip Pigment. It’s a great liquid lipstick that isn’t drying, wears extremely well, and doesn’t transfer too much.
I’m obsessed with Tom Ford Eye Color Quads. This one in Nude Dip is literally my favorite eyeshadow ever. I don’t know what it is, but Tom Ford eyeshadows are so pigmented, have beautiful shimmer, and are just so NICE.
I’ve been using Benefit Watts Up for probably 10 years at this point, as it is just a great highlight stick that’s easy to use. I always keep it in my makeup bag!
I didn’t use the Nars Pro-Prime Smudgeproof Eye Base in this look since I wasn’t going anywhere, but I had so many tubes of this since the product was released. I love it, and it has worked really well for me over the years.
When it comes to haircare, I’m usually pretty simple. I don’t mind using drugstore products, though lately I have been testing out different scalp products and trying to upgrade my haircare.
I’ve had a bottle of Ouai Dry Shampoo for quite a while but as soon as I saw this Ouai x Byredo Super Dry Shampoo Mojave Ghost, I knew that I had to have it. It came today, so I haven’t tried it yet, but I’m so excited to.
I also picked up these Slip Small Silk Scrunchies because I’ve wanted them forever. I’ll keep you posted on how I like them!
I picked up a mini bottle of Olaplex No 4 Bond Maintenance Shampoo a few months ago, and I really like how it is lightly scented, not too heavy, and washes my hair nicely. I’m definitely getting the Bond Repair Trial Set so I can try it the rest of the range!
On the skincare side, a lot of my favorites are from Sephora! Here’s an example of a morning skincare routine that I love.
I recently tried this sample size of Drunk Elephant Beste No 9 Jelly Cleanser. It is an unscented gel cleanser that doesn’t feel drying on my skin. It feels simple and clean, if you know what I mean. It’s definitely on my list to purchase!
I always follow cleansing with some type of facial mist, and lately I’ve just loved the Evian Facial Spray because the nozzle is fantastic. I know I could probably get more skincare benefits from some other products, but I still enjoy using this!
Another product that feels simple and pure, I love this Belif Hungarian Water Essence. I use this everyday!
Mask life hasn’t been nice to my skin, but Charlotte Tilbury Magic Cream has been making things feel a little more normal.
I thought I’d also share some skincare favorites I have repurchased time and again.
On the cleanser front, I’m obsessed with Kate Somerville Exfolikate and Gentle Daily Wash. My husband loves them too!
My skin has been breaking out a lot lately, and my bottle of Kate Somerville Eradikate is getting a lot of use every night. This sulfur based acne treatment does wonders on breakouts of all sizes.
There are no other cotton pads in my life besides Shiseido Facial Cottons. Period.
We’ve been using First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Cream for years, and yes I mean both my husband and I use it! It works great on his eczema prone skin, and I love using it on my hands or body. I know people use it on their face too!
Last but not least, I couldn’t tell you how many jars of Belif Aqua Bomb Sleeping Mask I’ve bought. I love this jello texture and hydrating overnight mask. It just feels great on my skin!
